Join Jake for a leisurely paced hike up Mitchell Canyon. We’ll begin our walk at the Visitor Center where we can look at posters of the flowers that we will see. The walk will consist of four different trails where wildflowers should be plentiful. We’ll plan to stop and identify all those we come across.
The hike is approximately 2 miles round trip, and a slight elevation gain, about 300 feet. Sturdy walking shoes are strongly recommended, as well as hiking poles if you normally use them. Bring liquids and snacks. Rain cancels.
There is a $6 per vehicle park entrance fee ($5 for seniors). Exact cash required (no coins please); pay at the entrance gate. You may also pay digitally by scanning the QR code on the sign near the entrance gate or Visitor Center; or…
