Join us on this beautiful loop hike to Eagle Peak. We’ll experience our green spring on the mountain as we climb up on trails that are steep at times, and then back down through lovely Mitchell Canyon. There is one especially rocky section, so bring poles if you use them. We’ll stop for a snack at Eagle Peak, and lunch at Deer Flat. Bring plenty of liquids, and dress for the weather. The hike is 7.7 miles with 2,200 feet of elevation gain. If there has been recent rain, there could be muddy sections. Pace will be moderate, but steady.
