CubeSats, the Small Satellite Revolution

Please join the Mt. Diablo Astronomical Society for its October 10 astronomy program at the lower summit parking lot.  This month’s topic is: CubeSats – the Small Satellite Revolution – Learn about the history, current use, and future of small satellites. They are deployed on missions by the major space agencies like NASA as well as universities and even some high schools.

Arrive early to safely view the Sun through telescopes.  The program starts at 6 p.m. at the lower summit parking lot of Mt. Diablo State Park (enter the park at least 45 minutes earlier).  Although there is no fee for this program, there is a park entrance fee.

Parking in the Lower Summit lots is limited and is First Come, First Served. If the lots are full when you arrive, you may park outside those lots, but please note:
