Discover which amazing moths are part of Mount Diablo State Park's nightshift. We'll have lights set up to see what moths (and other nocturnal flyers) stop by. Photos of what we see will add to the community science data being collected during National Moth Week.
Since the observation areas are near the parking lot, no hiking is required, but there is uneven ground. Closed-toe shoes, water, and a flashlight are recommended.
There is a $6 per vehicle park entrance fee ($5 for seniors). Exact cash required (no coins please); pay at the entrance gate. You may also pay digitally by scanning the QR code on the sign near the entrance gate or Visitor Center; or text CA2902 to 53242.
