Meet at the Mitchell Canyon Visitor Center at 96 Mitchell Canyon Road, Clayton, CA.

See the power of our native flowers in April. You may even find some "hiding" right in front of you using your own skills...and a little help. We’ll walk up Mitchell Canyon and with some potential short side trips onto Black Point Trail & Red Road. Our return route will be by way of Globe Lily Trail. This is a leisurely walk of about 3 or 4 miles round trip with a negligible elevation gain. Wear layered clothing and sturdy hiking shoes, and bring water & snacks. Be prepared for uneven trail surfaces and poison oak. Any rain cancels.  Not suitable for children under 12.
