Wildflower Walk - Reservations Required

 Sunday, April 28, 10am - 1pm, Mary Bowerman Trail

An easy 1 mile walk on a single-track trail and paved areas around the summit of Mount Diablo, we will see a diverse multitude of flowering trees, shrubs, vines, and spring wildflowers, including a few that grow only on this mountain and its surrounds. A plant list will be provided and the leaders will identify blooms and provide information. Bring water and camera, dress in layers, wear field boots and sunscreen. You may wish to bring a snack or lunch to enjoy in the picnic area at the end of the hike. Moderate or heavy rain cancels. Reservations are required. Fee: $10 parking permit. Payable at entrance to the Park, by the stop sign.

Due to heavy bike traffic, please allow at least one hour to drive from the base of the mountain to the Lower Summit Parking Lot.
