An easy 3-4 mile walk along a fire road and the single-track Globe Lily Trail, Mitchell Canyon provides one of the most accessible, prolific and diverse displays of spring wildflowers in the Bay Area. A plant list will be provided and the leaders will identify blooms and provide information. Bring water and a snack or light lunch and camera, dress in layers, wear field boots and sunscreen. Moderate or heavy rain cancels. No reservations required. Fee: $6 parking permit (exact change only). Payable at entrance to the Park, by the stop sign.
