The proposed Diablo Trail - a long distant backpacking trail through Mount Diablo State Park connecting Walnut Creek with Morgan Territory Regional Preserve and lands to the east.

The proposed Trail Through Time - a marked interpretive trail extending from Sycamore Canyon to the summit of Mount Diablo, encompassing approximately six miles and 3000 feet of elevation and covering over 150 million years of geologic history. Scheduled to be completed in early 2008. (Also see Trek Through Time article from 1996 Review.)
